Halloween Party

皆さんが楽しみにしてくれていたハロウィンパーティ、今年もたくさん参加してくれました

たくさんの魔女に、アリスに白雪姫に、ジェイ君の怪獣（笑）

フラメンコダンサーになりたかったエリーサは用意してた仮面を忘れ、なんとも中途半端

シャノン先生はトップガンのトムクルーズらしいですが、皆さん引きましたか？（笑）

可愛い過ぎる～

これ何のゲームか分かりますか?

ドラキュラの血やフランケンシュタインの汗という名前の飲み物をチーム別に飲んでタイムを競いました（笑）

ミイラになるゲームもしましたよ

たくさんのミイラが出来上がりました（笑）

そしてメインのハロウィンウォーク

足湯まで歩きました

みんなが歩いている間にホットドッグのソーセージを蒸していましたが、私も仮装していたので、たまたまいた知り合いの男の子に、まかこさん今日はファンキーですね、と言われて大爆笑でした（笑）

みんなが揃った時はホッとしましたよ

最初はホットドッグを注文する時のオーダーの仕方を勉強しました

I want tomato sauce, please!

ちゃんとオーダーできたかな？

Special Guest

Every so often I invite English Teacher friends to come and join in my lessons and to interact with the students.  This is good for everyone as it gives me a chance to check on my students conversation levels as well as giving the kids a chance to listen to another native speakers intonation and pronunciation.

On this occasion Drew Sensei came to Obama and provided the students lots of energy as well as motivation to continue to study hard and improve their English conversation levels.  He also got the Mothers involved and this is a very important part of the students English Development, learning a foreign language with your parents!

Shannon's Advice

Recently I have been experiencing some lower back problems from when I was an athlete in my youth. The many sports I played on a daily basis has made me an expert in many different sports but never a professional which is what I wanted to be since I was a boy.

My body used to be very strong but now with lower back problems their are many things that I can't do anymore. Even carrying my 20kg daughter can be difficult but I am back in better condition now after starting my rehabilitation process.

I thought this English Phrase would be applicable to a lot of people:

【Don't overdo it. = 無理しないでください】

A:If the doctor lets me, I'll be back at work next week.
B:Don't overdo it.　You're not that young anymore.

A:医者の許可が出れば、来週から出社できそうです。
B:無理しないでください。もう年なんですから。

Even though I am not young anymore I am going to look after myself as I really want to be able to carry my daughter even when she weighs 40kgs.

Junior Eiken Test Week

今週は児童英検ウイーク

児童英検とはリスニングを聞いて、絵に合う内容を選ぶテストです

ブロンズ、シルバー、ゴールドの三種類あります。

今回は幼稚園生もブロンズにチャレンジしてくれました～

ゴールドになるとかなり長い話を聞きとらないといけません

みんな真剣です

受験した皆さん全員に表彰状が届きますしばらくお待ちを～
